Our vision is to play our part in the Evangelisation of the Nations, the Revitalisation of the Church and the Transformation of Society. Here’s a short update on what we’ve been able to do this year together as a church, thanks to all your support.
2025 Ministry Update
SUNDAY SERVICES
The 11 brings together a wonderful mix of ages and demographics that reflect the rich cultural diversity of the city and region we look to love and serve. We typically gather around 200 people at The 11 and we have a growing number of children, young people and young adults, creating space for worship, Bible teaching and community.
KIDS
Minster Kids exists to connect children and families to know the love of God and have fun at church. Minster Kids meets every Sunday as well as for special occasions such as the Light Party – a family-friendly Christian alternative to Halloween, focussing on a message of hope.
YOUTH
Minster Youth provide spaces where young people can seek Jesus, build community and thrive. We have a range of activities that cover young people’s passions and dreams. We disciple 11-18 year olds in their faith through Sundays, Outreach Nights, Alpha Youth and special events.
COLLECTIVE
Collective is our ministry for students and young adults. Our mission is to live in the way of Jesus, transforming Preston through the university campus and workplaces. Collective meets fortnightly to equip and disciple young adults, as well as monthly after The 11 for a shared lunch. Members of Collective span all areas of church life as they serve on Teams throughout the church.
SPEAR
Through Spear, we support 16-24 year olds to realise their potential when it comes to overcoming barriers they might face to employment. Over the past year, we’ve supported over 80 young people across six cohorts and have seen trainees curious about faith explore other areas of church life
GROUPS
Minster Groups are where we join with others to build friendships and deepen faith. At any one time we have about 20 Groups, representing all ages and stages. We support Connect Groups with resources, leadership training and pastoral support.
KINGDOM COME
Prayer and worship are the heartbeat of all we do at the Minster and we have a great hunger for God’s presence. Through Kingdom Come, we set aside intentional time and space to ask God for a move of his Spirit across our city. Whenever we meet, we see a rise in the fervour and passion of calling down Heaven to Earth.
FOCUS
Focus is our annual church holiday where we join with churches from across the HTB network to be encouraged, equipped and envisioned. Last year, we took over 90 people from our community to Focus with people experiencing deeper belonging to the church, new friendships, and physical healing.
